Settling in....

We are continuing to get settled in. We decided to keep Dean out of preschool until the first of the year so that we can get used to a new town especially since they are closed for a week for Thanksgiving and two weeks at Christmas. I am hoping to get Dean and Madelynn in a Mother's Day Out program two days a week starting in January. So right now they are each other's favorite playmate-as it should be. Today Dean helped me hang pictures and unpack boxes. Jake and Madelynn "helped" too. Things are beginning to come together. We visited Mt. Vernon church Sunday morning and were impressed but of course will keep visiting around. Finding the right church will be our next big task. After church, Dean wanted pizza for lunch, so we went to Pizza Hut for the Sunday lunch buffet and ran into Meg and Jason Ebert from Macon. They were gracious enough to let us sit with them and visit while we ate lunch. It was so good to catch up. I expect we'll have more opportunity to run into all our friends from Macon now. Looking forward to that.
