Matt's grandmother, Granny, has a birthday today. Granny is a special lady that embodies all things Granny. She makes the BEST tea cakes (from scratch;no slice-n-bake here) and my personal favorite is her pound cake. YUM, YUM!! She always remembers all of our birthdays, so it was special to get to celebrate her special day with her this year. Kiki and Adam invited us all to their house last Saturday for a birthday party. The kids were SO excited especially about the cake and presents. We had barbecue with all the fixings and a beautiful and yummy ice cream cake. Thanks, Kiki and Adam for having us all over. We had a great time!
Madelynn has developed quite the attachment to her Granny.
We helped her blow out the candles and make a wish!
We all had lunch on the deck.
We helped Granny open her presents.
We played.......
and played in Kiki and Adam's basement/playroom, and just had a great visit.Happy Birthday, Granny!
