The Sassers: Splish, Splash

I know you get tired of hearing how much fun we had this weekend, but WOW, we had a blast at the water park with my family Friday. Dean had the opportunity to go with Mimi, Ju Ju, Sydney and Landon earlier this summer, so he could not wait to take "the whole family" and show us around. We got there as the gates opened and grabbed a great spot in a secluded part of the beach. After we (literally) got our feet wet at the beach, we decided it was time to explore the other possibilities, so we headed to the splash park which was definitely Jake's favorite part. He figured out that he could go down the slides by himself, so we spent some good time there. Dean was dying to show us the "big bucket that dumps water", so Mimi took charge of Jake and we headed to the Creaky Leaky Water Factory. WHOA, that was F-U-N! We decided to go back and get Daddy so we could ride the big slides under the bucket. Madelynn was always unsure about getting in the tunnel to slide down, but when she got to the bottom, she ALWAYS wanted to go again. Love that little dare devil!! We went out to the picnic area for lunch and then headed back in for more splishing and splashing. Matt and I even rode a BIG slide called the Back Splash. Let's just say, the heavier you are the more fun, and we had B-I-G fun!! It was a great start to our weekend with the Burnham crew.
